The qualification
For a professional reorganization and an increase of the life span of their waste water and rain water buildings our qualified and up-to-date trained coworkers are to you at any time at the disposal. The prerequisite for carrying out professional manual renovation work is valid proof of authorisation in the company, such as SIVV and lamination certificates. Safety technology and training are a matter of course in our company.
The field of application
The field of application of the D&S manual rehabilitation comprises all components made of concrete and masonry in the form of shaft structures, special structures, separator systems and accessible sewers as egg or circular profiles >= DN 800.
The possibilities
In shaft structures and accessible sewers, damage can be reliably and competently repaired by rehabilitation in accordance with SIVV guidelines. Intensive primer preparation is another quality feature. Our offer includes:
- Repair of cracks and joints
- Remediation of holes and missing wall parts
- Removal of roots and deposits
- Remediation of leaking, broken and improper pipe connections, pipe sleeves and inlets
- Mineral coating (PCC) of shaft structures
- Synthetic resin coating of shaft structures
- Renovation / renewal of shaft troughs / berms
- Groundwater sealing with injection technology
- Lining with GFK or ceramic elements
- Installation / replacement of safety-relevant shaft components, such as crampons, crampons and ladders
Preparation of the substrate for renovation in accordance with SIVV guidelines is a matter of course in our company.
The advantages
The advantages of trenchless rehabilitation with PCC mortars, synthetic resins and injections begin with the implementation of the rehabilitation. Excavations and replacements are no longer necessary, and obstructions to residents, pedestrians and traffic are kept to a minimum. A fast building completion convinces just like the manageable costs of a reorganization.
The finished product is characterised by its high resistance to chemical and mechanical stresses and a long service life.
The product
The Manhole Liner is a seamless GFK hose made of synthetic resin impregnated fibre optic cableways extending from the berm to the top of the street. In the factory the so-called stand alone system made to the required dimensions and then delivered to the site ready for installation. Due to the great flexibility of the material, the Manhole Liner can be individually adapted to square, brick and oval shafts, even with large changes in cross-section. The speed of rehabilitation is another major advantage. The liner is cured by means of a UV light chain. In addition, the up to 15 millimetre thick, high-strength cured and monolithic Manhole Liner is very resistant to corrosion due to its high stability, to improve the statics of the old building. The customer receives a product, which, due to constant production conditions and extensive quality assurance measures is delivered to the installation site in a homogeneous quality.
The field of application
The Manhole Liner is suitable for shaft structures in a nominal width range up to DN 2000 and can be adapted to almost all geometries. In addition, the system has a short installation time, can also be used in pumping station shafts and the high stability supports the statics of the old building. Unsaturated polyester resins are used, which are suitable for municipal waste water. Vinyl ester resins are also available for special chemical resistance requirements. Extensive quality assurance measures ensure homogeneous quality as well as maintenance-free and long-term conservation of value.
The installation
Before the manhole liner can be installed, it is cleaned using high-pressure water at up to 400 bar. Old climbing aids and other obstacles are removed. With shaft repair mortar, excavations and rough damaged areas are reprofiled. If necessary, a preliminary sealing is carried out in case of strong groundwater intrusion. The manhole liner is folded and suspended in the structure and calibrated by means of compressed air so that the liner material fits tightly against the shaft wall. Afterwards the curing is done with a UV light source. The curing is monitored by camera and the important parameters such as pressure and curing speed are recorded.
Finally, the manhole liner is cut flush at the bottom and top and tied in at the transition areas in the shaft bottom and shaft neck.
The advantages
The manhole liner is a renovation process that is particularly durable due to its high quality. The structure is protected against corrosion by the use of polyester and vinylester resins. The wall thickness can be statically adapted to the prevailing groundwater pressures and additionally supports the statics of the old building. Removal of the shaft cone is not necessary and traffic obstruction is minimized due to the fast installation time.
